- Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Telouet Kasbah – Ounila Valley – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate

Your adventure begins at 9:00 AM, leaving the hustle and bustle of Marrakech behind and embarking on a spectacular road that winds through the majestic peaks of the High Atlas Mountains. The Tizi n'Tichka pass, perched at 2,260 meters, offers breathtaking panoramas of rugged, rolling mountains. Your first stop will be the Telouet Kasbah, the former residence of the powerful Pasha Glaoui. This fortified palace, built in the 19th century, embodies the fascinating history of a bygone Morocco, where Berber influences and the colonial era intertwine. Stroll through its corridors and let the intrigues of the past unfold before you. Then, along a scenic route, you'll reach the verdant Ounila Valley before arriving at the legendary Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou for lunch. This fortified mud-brick village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is an architectural marvel that has served as a backdrop for numerous famous films, from Lawrence of Arabia to Gladiator. The afternoon is dedicated to exploring this timeless place. At the end of the day, you'll travel to Ouarzazate for a traditional dinner and a restful night at the hotel.

- Day 2: Ouarzazate – Anti-Atlas Mountains – Agdz – Draa Valley – Zagora – M'Hamid – Erg Lihoudi Dunes

After a leisurely awakening, you'll continue your adventure in your 4x4, heading south through the striking and contrasting landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you'll make a refreshing stop at the Tizgui waterfalls, a true haven of peace nestled in the rock, where clear water cascades between red and green stones, creating an oasis of coolness and serenity. You'll then continue your journey towards Agdz, the gateway to the Draa Valley, before taking the old caravan route, a historic itinerary winding through a lush palm grove, dotted with fortified mud-brick villages that seem to belong to another era. Lunch will be waiting for you in Zagora, a lively little town known for its Saharan atmosphere and its famous "Timbuktu 52 days" sign. In the afternoon, you'll continue to M'Hamid, the last oasis before the vast desert. From there, you'll travel in your 4x4 along the sandy track that leads to the foot of the majestic dunes of Erg Lihoudi. At the end of the day, a walk through these silent landscapes will immerse you in the captivating atmosphere of the Sahara. You will enjoy a magical sunset over the golden dunes, before a traditional dinner under the stars and an unforgettable night in a bivouac, lulled by the tranquility of the desert.

Days 3, 4, 5, and 6: Trekking from Erg Lihoudi to the Chegaga Dunes – through the screaming dunes and wild landscapes of the Sahara

After a breathtaking sunrise over Erg Lihoudi and breakfast in the heart of the desert, you will embark on an extraordinary 4-day trek across the vast Sahara. This unique journey will take you from M'Hamid to the great dunes of Chegaga, following ancient nomadic trails, far from tourist routes. Accompanied by a passionate Saharan guide and a team of experienced camel drivers, you will walk approximately 3 hours each morning and 3 hours each afternoon, at the slow and soothing pace of the pack camels, which will carry all the equipment: tents, sleeping gear, cooking supplies, bottled water, and personal belongings. Two camels will be available to ride in case of fatigue. The route traverses varied and magnificent landscapes: mineral hamadas, austere regs, small, secluded oases, sandy valleys, and golden dunes sculpted by the wind. The passage through the Singing Dunes, particularly wild and little-known, will be one of the highlights of the trek: these isolated, rarely trodden dunes will offer you a feeling of absolute solitude in a raw and poetic setting, worthy of the vast Sahara. Each evening, a nomadic bivouac will be set up by hand in a different location. Around the fire, you will enjoy a carefully prepared hot meal, soothed by the silence of the desert and the star-studded sky. Over these four days of camel trekking in the Moroccan desert, you will walk approximately 100 km, until reaching, on the 6th day, the majestic dunes of Chegaga (up to 300 m high). Climbing to the summit of Erg Chegaga at sunset will reward you with an unforgettable panoramic view of the endless sea of sand. You will spend your last Saharan night in a comfortable and welcoming bivouac, in the heart of one of Morocco's most beautiful deserts.

- Day 7: Chegaga Dunes – Lake Iriqui – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Ouarzazate

At sunrise, you will experience one last magical moment in the desert, facing the immensity of the golden dunes. After breakfast in the soothing calm of the Sahara, you will continue your journey by 4x4, skirting the majestic Chegaga dunes and the dry riverbed of the Draa, a true desert artery that winds its way through the sands. Your adventure will take you to Lake Iriqui, a former body of water now transformed into a vast salt flat and desert, with white, lunar reflections. This almost surreal place, with its endless mineral landscapes, is a true haven of silence and escape, emblematic of the southern Moroccan desert. Then, you'll travel along a section of the legendary Paris-Dakar Rally route, crossing the impressive Draa Hamada, a stark and austere desert where the 4x4 follows in the footsteps of mythical rallies of the past. Arrival in Foum Zguid, a small Saharan town where you'll enjoy a well-deserved lunch break. In the afternoon, you'll continue towards Taznakht, a town renowned for the handcrafted production of traditional Berber carpets, true works of art hand-knotted by the women of the region. An ideal cultural stop to discover the secrets of this ancestral craft. Return to Ouarzazate at the end of the day, where you'll find the comfort of your hotel for a final peaceful night, after an immersive journey through dunes, oases, and mountains.

- Day 8: Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges – Skoura Oasis – Valley of Roses – Road of a Thousand Kasbahs

After breakfast, you will set off to discover the majestic region of southern Morocco. Your first stop will be the Skoura Oasis, renowned for its verdant palm grove and ancient kasbahs. There, you will visit the splendid Kasbah of Amridil, a jewel of earthen architecture, admirably restored, and a true testament to traditional Berber life. Then, you will cross the Valley of Roses, famous for its Damask rose cultivation, its road lined with ksours (fortified villages), and its artisanal rosewater distilleries. This floral and mountainous landscape offers an enchanting contrast to the surrounding aridity. The road then continues towards the impressive Dades Gorges, carved into the ochre rock by the waters of the river of the same name. After lunch at a restaurant overlooking the cliffs, you'll set off on a walk through the Valley of the Figs, which will lead you to the famous "Monkey Fingers" – spectacular, unusual, and majestic rock formations. You'll hike among red cliffs, terraced fields, and Berber villages clinging to the mountainside, for a complete immersion in the soul of the Dadès Valley. In the late afternoon, return to Ouarzazate, where you'll enjoy a traditional dinner and a well-deserved night's rest at the hotel.

- Day 9: Ouarzazate – Taourirt Kasbah – Tifoultoute Kasbah – Fint Oasis – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

After a final breakfast in Ouarzazate, you'll begin your day with a visit to the Taourirt Kasbah, a jewel of earthen architecture and the former residence of Pasha Glaouï. This iconic monument, a national heritage site, will immerse you in the history of southern Morocco through its labyrinthine corridors, richly decorated salons, and panoramic views of the city. You will then travel by 4x4 towards the splendid Fint Oasis, nestled in the heart of rocky hills. A former caravan stop, this preserved oasis reveals a striking contrast between the dark rocks and the lush greenery of the palm groves. A walk through its gardens and traditional villages will offer you an authentic moment of peace and serenity, allowing you to meet the locals and experience their ancestral way of life. On the return journey, you will make a final stop at the Kasbah of Tifoultoute, perched on a promontory overlooking the valley. Less well-known than its neighbor Taourirt, it nevertheless offers an exceptional setting and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. This ancient fortress perfectly illustrates the rich architectural heritage of southern Morocco. In the afternoon, you will travel to Marrakech, crossing the sublime High Atlas Mountains once again via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m). Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramas one last time before arriving in the vibrant red city of Marrakech at the end of the day, where your unforgettable Saharan adventure concludes.
